Programs at Elder Facilities
- Rabbi Shapiro visits with seniors at Shalom Center– Rabbi Shapiro bolsters Jewish practice and identity with seniors at Shalom Center in Garland.
- Bubby/Zaidy Program– Jewish Life Network pairs teens with seniors for visitation, to help with errands, or go to the park or other locations. Members of this program form meaningful relationships which enhances quality of life for both parties.
- Rabbi Shapiro visits the seniors at Towne North Living every other Tuesday to infuse the group with Torah insights, stories, and a dose of British humor.
- Rabbi Shapiro teaches a class at The Legacy at Willow Bend every Wednesday at 1:00. The class offers insights into the parsha of the week, Jewish holidays, as well as other interesting Jewish thought. Student participation and discussion is encouraged and enjoyed by both teacher and students.
